This is a small and versatile upright piano module with unique sound.
This piano module is neither a sample player, nor synthesized. It's a hybrid technology, that combines both methods. This resulted in a great module size reduction and light CPU usage. If you look for the updated technology and a professional grade Piano instrument VSTi, then TruePianos is for you. It is based on my recent research and developments in the area of virtual piano reproduction and offers a great playability. Unlike many other piano modules (like those gigabyte pianos), these module will never overload CPU. They will never stick notes, and never break the sound or click during live performances.

Nice sound. I will try to found how to give a donate.
Not working. Mac M1 Monterey, Plugin is not recognized, not by Logic Pro and not from Reaper.
Yes, You are so right. I had the same problem too.
Works fine on Reaper 6, just installed today, gives my kid a usable piano from his internal soundcard with ASIO4ALL, nice light vst, thanks!

It sounds great but sustain sound is not stopping. Please fix this.
Can't install it, dosent appear in Logic pro x. Running Mojave, anyone help?
Hi... I renamed the .component to .vst and followed the instructions ( copy to
/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Vst) but in the Garageband does not appear the module... :( Mac user here...
Hi there. Unable to make it run. I have tried to install it in a .vst path but de .dll extension is not recognized by my DAW (Reaper). Any help would be more than welcome. Thanks in advance.
First you need to find out if you have 32 or 64 bit. I'm running Windows 10 64 bit. Place the DLL file in your Reaper/Plugins/FX folder. Start Reaper, insert virtual instrument on new track and you should see 4Front Piano Module in the list. Works and sounds great.
Thanks for the assistance. Works like a magic
How to do that under windows 10 with Cubase Elements 10.5?

Thanks

Sounds great! :) Just a little simple plugin but for what it is, it sounds awesomely good!If you need an upright piano sound, this' really good.
(5 / 5)
It's a free but useful and practical vsti, which is amazing on reaper.
This sounds good but the tuning is slightly sharp. Ears say so and check with ReaTune in Reaper confirms. Can it be adjusted?
It would be a bit of a hassle but couldn't you export the midi as an audio file and then transpose it up or down however many tones you like?

Sounds nice, i reccomend this VST for everyone :D
(5 / 5)
I'm amazed at how good this sounds. For a small free VST that uses very little CPU it sounds surprisingly like a real piano. Highly recommend!
(5 / 5)
I love this VST. I have used it for basically every piano part I've done and no other piano I tried after is as good.
(4 / 5)
I love it! It sounds very realistic in its simplicity. I use it with LMMS/Vestige in Linux and it's very stable and the CPU usage incredibly low. If you need to reverberate or amplify the sound, you can easily do it with Audacity.
Hi, I trying to install it on lmms/vestige but doesn't work. How did you get it work? did you download win64 plugin?
I can't get this plugin to work on Linux, how'd you do it?
I went through most of the better rated piano VSTs here, trying to find one that would be resemble a sample I liked. And despite being minuscule in size, compared to the others, this one.. it just feels even better? Simple, reliable, and happens to match the sound I searched for almost perfectly. Love it so far, great work..

Hey guys, I used this piano on this track. I'm happy with the results. https://youtu.be/poEHIhzkgF0

For a free piano plugin, this is really good. Simple, good and pleasant sounding. 5/5

Just put some delay and reverb and it sounds magnificent, love it!
Fantastic Plugin. Thank you very much. :)

Hi this is a must have piano plugin, the sound is so full. But i have one question, is there a way to have the notes maintaned but the pedal go of after sometimes or even have just a little less sustain with the pedal because i find it a little too much?
(5 / 5)
Many thanks for this wonderful plugin. Ultra realistic upright piano sounds and plays like a dream especially with a good reverb.
(5 / 5)
Great, bright piano sound. Sounds kinda like an old (but in tune) saloon piano or some kind of fast jazz piano
(5 / 5)
Обалденное звучание!!!

Fantastic ! Thaanks alot! Great sounding and perfect function in OSX.
(5 / 5)
Excellent Piano VST and very easy to use!
How do I add sustain on it??
Usually you would either press the sustain button on your MIDI keyboard, but you can use plugins as well.

Good job guys! tx for every one, really thanks.
Super nice job, man. May your life be smooth and pleasurable.... many thanks, many thanks
Simply great. Very light on the CPU and so convincing.
Thank you very much! Wolfgang, Germany.
Thx a lot, works perfect in ubuntu16/Reaper on Wine :)

One of the best VSTi pianos ever. Thanks a lot!
(5 / 5)
The "default" piano in the "beedroom" musician's setup :)
How do you make it available to use in Reaper? I downloaded the compressed file, but my PC doesn't let me decompress the file :(
Download it again, I tested it and it's fine. Your zip may be corrupted because of a connection problem...
Great !!!!!
Exelente los que crean los plugins se merecen todo

TRUE TO jazz IT
I bought my first MIDI keyboard in the weekend and started looking for instruments. I installed the piano last night and am so enjoying playing again after a hiatus of many years. Thank you for this simple and very effective plugin.
Awesome!

This is exactcly what I needed. Sounds amazing and it's free?! Thanks a lot.
The thing didnt work. I renamed the component to .vst but the mac had it as "name".vst.component I then removed component and pasted it into the vst folder but it still didnt work

Perfect!! Thanks!

Wow! Fantastic sound! Thanx!
(5 / 5)
This has NO features to change, but that's what keeps it sounding 100% authentic. This is a really great piano sound!
(5 / 5)
This is the best free piano I have found so far. It's simple but very effective as a background piano. Wonderful!!
(5 / 5)
Great sound...wow!
(5 / 5)
4Front, I am a fan.
(5 / 5)
Melhor do que muitos que tem mais de uma camada de velocidade! Better than many wich have more than one velocity layer !
(5 / 5)
Sounds like an older upright piano, which is great for blues and barrelhouse. I gave it a 5 out of 5, because it is reliable, and has low CPU usage. The following idiosyncrasies may bother some, but to me they are charming and useful: If you move the pitch bend wheel while a note(s) is held down, it stops the note(s). If you are using the piano with a damper pedal, the sound will never fully decay as long as the pedal is held. Put a paperweight on the pedal, and this plugin becomes a unique compositional tool. I call it, "the tone bucket."
Thanks sooooo much for this! Amazing tip, using it now!! Have a great day : )

I love 4 Front, decent sound for free price, can't complain.
Just grabbed this plugin and I think it sounds great. Has a bright piano tone that's really well done, and hey it's free. Definitely going to be using this, thanks again.

Very good sound, acoustic piano, I do progressive rock and I recommand it for "chorus piano" fan. Very good plugins and very good sounds. Good play !
(5 / 5)
Nice sound, slightly distorted, something like honky-tonk. Very good for free.
(4 / 5)
This is slightly de-tuned upright like on The Beatles Lady Madonna or The Moody Blues Go Now. It's superb for pop or blues. Thank you very much! Very good in Psycle .
The tone is great BUT there is absolutely no change in timbre with regards to velocity. It simply makes the sound louder. Good only if you can hide it someone in the background and keep it from the spotlight. Alone it sounds childish but the tone is the redeeming quality.
(5 / 5)
This one actually works for me on Windows 7 with Psycle x86 (non 64-bit) v1.10.1. All the other piano VSTs here seem to crash. This one sounds good too, thank you 4Front.
extremely wonderful!
(1 / 5)
Would be ok if it wasn't totally out of tune! In tune with itself but nothing else.
(5 / 5)
I think it's very great for jazz style. I chose the plugin and as soon as I hit one note I knew I should be playing some blues. The responsiveness is so great and the sound (although not that useable for many other styles) sounds perfect. If you can create another piano for a more smooth, connected, soft sound with this kind of realistic sound, I'd download it the first minute it's out. Thanks
(5 / 5)
I just had one thing to say: THIS PLUGIN ROCK'S o/ Tks ;)
(5 / 5)
Ich mag diesen klimperigen, leicht verstimmten Klang. wirklich geil !
(5 / 5)
awesome! sonido de piano de escuela!!!
(4 / 5)
i find it very great for work at home
(4 / 5)
A unique but rich and very good sound for an unexpensive VST, but I'm going crazy: I don't understand why it doesn't runs with a small processor like AMD Sempron 2800+, for instance. But starting with an Intel Pentium 4 2,8 Ghz, no problems at all.
having tried 4 others i will settle for this. no fancy tweaks. just real piano sound
(5 / 5)
Incredibly realistic upright piano sound. Very convincing.
Blow the rest. THIS IS A PIANO! Excellent
