Davosynth is an emulation of the vintage italian synth Davolisint.
Davolisint is a rare Italian keyboard created in 1972. There are two oscillators called VCO1 and VCO2 - but there are no waveform selection, syncing options or envelopes. So, what do we have? One Portamento and fine tune per oscillator and the heart of the synth - four sliders with vibrato effect and 7 different footings available at the same time (32', 16', 8', 4', 2', 1', and 1/2'). There's also a lever called "extend" which is an up-only pitch bend.

I Remember seeing one of these in a music shop and playing around with it thinking of saving up for it. But it was one of the earliest synths I saw being sold anywhere and it was the late 70's so it cost a grandmother and sister to buy (=a huge lot of money!) and it would have cost me about 5 years of saving! Now it's free Yippee!!!!

Any chance of you making a Mac version? Per favore!!! :-)
very retro sounding.. nice
I have loved this weird instrument and it's incredible sound ever since I first heard it being used on a Caravan album. I owned a physical one which died long ago, (they were not too well made), so the opportunity to have it emulated, and somewhat improved, is brilliant! Thanks to all involved
This is sutable for creating music.

GREAT sound, GREAT concept. The way you have to use the lower keys to change the sound parameters is quite unusual, still it is practical and efficient. I like it particularly in live performances! And the sound is SOOOOO old style! I love it.
Awesome synth! Only I bug though... It doesn't output audio on certain notes. (FL Studio 10)

So, back in 1978 I was seeing & evaluating this synth in a shop somewhere in the center of Athens and I was dreamin' of having it in my room to play along with my Hohner 49RA organ....So many years later I have it for free and enjoy nostalgicaly..Thank you so much. Sound? 100% Davoli !!
