A VST plug-in which emulates the playback speed imperfections of the pre-digital era.
- playback speed is modulated in realtime by up to six oscillators
- intuitive controls: Non-linearly scaled controls allow to directly set the perceived pitch deviation depth and rate resulting from the playback speed modulation
- dual mode: In dual mode the left and the right channel are modulated separately
- A built-in test tone generator makes it easy to quickly check a particular setting with different signals.
- If a control has no influence on the sound in a certain mode it will disappear from the surface
- All parameters are controllable by midi controllers
- Pop-up hints of each control on the user interface.
- Assignment of midi controllers is documented in the pop-up hints
- flange mode: When the modulated signal is mixed with the original signal a flanging effect occurs. This feature recalls the times when recording engineers created a flange effect by applying pressure on the tape reel with their hand. Additional controls for feedback and delay allow to create more intense flange effects. Although the unit can be pushed to self-oscillation in extreme settings it will never cause digital clipping thanks to a compressor algorithm inserted into the feedback path.

A great plugin to emulate the "table warble/wobble" (if your just looking for the modulation introduced by tape and none of the saturation, noise, etc.) though you may want to pair this with a tape or tube emulation (there are free ones out there that sounds fantastic) to able to get a somewhat near to the "vintage type of sound"

This is a SynthEdit plugin, so what its doing under the hood is pretty rudimentary. It's basically just a few simple LFOs here and there modulating frequency and amplitude. So the issue with this is, it can often sound too artificial, like a fake vibrato. However, it has its uses. I set the mix level to 30% wet and put it behind Ferox, which is a free tape saturation plugin. It's a bit of a symbiotic relationship. WnF adds a bit of subtle flair that enhances Ferox's effect, and Ferox is able to cloak the artificial feeling of WnF. Certainly not the best plugins, but it was useful to create a decent halloweeny effect.

Sick plugin, does what its supposed to. Adds a really vintage sound to the source and makes the timbre organic.

This is actually a good plugin. A Great substitution for Waves plugins. Waves may add fancier "vintage" sounds but as for modulating the sound this plugin does enough job.

This plug in is great NOT for enhancing so much as it is a plug in that adds an effect that gives a vintage quality to a track or sound. It adds a sort of vintage charm that can give a recording a unique warmth that only pre-digital mechanics were allowed to achieve. Thanks for sharing.
Pretty over the top sounding effect. I haven't found much use for it, other than just creating noise.
Lemme guess... You were born on or after the 2000s... Every 'noise' has its own creative use.
For some reson the plugin will not open when i click it? Im fairly new to FL but i would really like to use this plugin. I have favourited the plugin and extacted to my custom plugins folder. Does any body what ive done wrong and how to fix it?

one of my most used effects. a classic and must have for every studio. incredible tape replication. wish I could find a version for Mac to use in logic.
I think this is better than Izotope vinyl

Fantastic effect, my only complaint is that it cuts some highs which is not always what I want.
Great for Rasssta voices in reggae-dub!!! Thank you very muchhhhh for this magic VST!

Haha this is great. I've not found use for it but works really well. Maybe it's got too many controls for me, I like simple.

I like to put this on every channel in subtle amounts, but it all adds up. it can add a special "something" to your track. also sounds great on the reverb send.

Perfect plugin for some trippin Astro- and Intronautic Music.

This vst is awesome and I've used it for years to good effect. The trick to it is to turn it down to a very low level, and put it in stereo mode. Like this, you can give your synthesised sounds a depth and humanisation that is difficult to achieve in another way!

A very useful plug!Exempel:insert1:Wow&flutter,insert2:A tapesaturatorplug, and you come closer to the real thing(reel To reel recording)A taperecorder sounds as it does among other things on account of the term:"wow and flutter".Wow&flutter is the missing link to make your tapesaturationplugs more complete!

good for experimental music, throw it in a rhodes piano with reverb, good for background noise and ambience if you are actually good at creating music, if your a noob then i couldn't see any use in this.

It's not bad. I just can't find a good use for it. The effect gives the audio signal a constant vibrato type effect.
that's the point. -_-

Yea, this is good for that weary sound. Throw some reverb in the mix and you're in business.

Perfect for the Analogue sounds !!!
