Ambience is a reverb that rivals the quality of the best commercial reverbs.
You are free to decide yourself how much you want to pay for it, and when.

Easily my favorite reverb plugin, but I was unable to use it in 64-bit windows without JBridge so I had to retire it unfortunately. Still highly recommend. Best free reverb plugin

Very good sounding but has a major problem in Reaper. It doesn't load saved presets properly even when loading a project. This makes it unfortunately totally unreliable.

First reverb ever that I've put on a track and didn't hate it. I hate reverbs but this one blends better than most and sound good too. It's got a nag screen but all functions work and you can donate to get rid of it.

Just one word, impressive.

Love this plug-in. I'm using maybe 10% of its features for my church worship recordings (using Reaper) but it's absolutely tremendous - particulary for getting a realistic "live" sound.

Working on Adobe Audition 1.5. Thanks for this.
Cubase 10.5 only takes 64-bit plug-ins, VST 2.4 or higher. Zero support for 32 bit. Sad face.
Use a bridger und there you have it!
Can not install on Mac

Same here, plugin won't show up in garageband

A Classic, I really wish it was 64-bit for Windows.
64 should always work on 64 just not the other way around

Yeah same for me bro, it doesn't show up in Adobe Auditions CC 2019
It just doesnt show up in my ableton live 9, no matter how much i rescan the plugin folder:(

This fantastic reverb is now open source, can anyone port this to linux vst?
You don't need to port it. Just use wine to load fl studio. When it makes the directory for it enable hidden folders. Click on .wine, go to drive: c, program files x86, vstplugins, and paste the .dll in the folder. Load up fl and scan plugins and you are good to go.
Really? Open source? Where can we get the source code?

A Classic!

One of the rare instances where I downloaded reverb, put it on master, selected "Pady-Drums Easy" preset and it was just right. Lots of great presets.

Very Nice Reverb effects

Good reverb, except slightly seems to bias reverb on sub basses to be panned left if width is 100%
I'm unable to get the graphic layout for this- it is just the sliders with values for gating/decay etc. Any ideas whats wrong?

I was first intimidated by all the settings, but now I use this plugin constantly in my works because the presets really get you started, and sure do they give you the sounds you want.
I've been thinking about writing a review for a while because for any of you contemplating dling this, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING SO!, this plugin is an absolute beast and its is very simple to get real sounding spaces. I've tried different presets and some have shocked me for instance there was one that made it sound shallow like the sound was coming from a different room. MUST GET! :D
Is it normal it shows up in my Logic for a 3 second and it is gone. I see Magnus ni menu and then go to track to put it on and it is fu..g gone from the list!!!. WTF?
I use the as a AU in ableton 9, works perfect. The only thing I miss, is the interface, but you get used to it.
Has anyone got this working with Ableton 9? Doesn't for me but worked fine with 8. Is there something im missing? Cheers
Ableton 9 doesn't support 32bit plugins. however, I use Jbridge to bridge 32 bit plugins to 64bit format. works great. jbridge costs like 20 bucks if I remember correctly

Aaahhh yes! I had forgot about this plugin. I used to use it on my old rig that crashed. A go-to reverb, for sure. Has a unique character and usability that I loved, and it is nice being able to control how "digital" you want it to sound, if you're into weird textures.
I don't have any sound!!! Why? Please! Help! I use LMMS! Thanks a lot!
LMMS uses VST instruments, not VST effects. You'd need a LADSPA plugin for effects.

I'm giving 5* bcs it's versatile, but still I want to say that sound wise it kind of reminds me of moto q (compering reverb and eq? yup). All in all great sound toy and it's free so thhhhhhhhhanks <3
Won't show up at all in my Ableton plugins no matter how many times I rescan or try different directory.
I am so lost. I want reverb. I have a behringer mixer. I use it for singing. I am hoping someone on here will see my comment and know what to do. This is a driver so then how to do I get it so I can use the reverb effect. What else do I have to install..?
Please contact info@vst4free.com
Hey sarah, relax!!! ;o) you have to install the software / plugin. After this you have to do a "scanning" in the directx area of your daw (adobe audition, cubase, digital performe. Or whatever you use...) and before the scanning you need to add the folder with the new plugin(s) so the software daw can - find - it... Hope this helps! Wishing you a lot fun! ;o)

An excellent compilation of different reverb settings. You'll never go wrong with these... just remember to donate, as Magnus put a lot of effort into this project. Now if I could just get it to play nice with Mavericks...

Has always been my favorite reverb, till I bought Altiverb.

A studio grade professional reverb unit, comparable only to the most expensive plugins. How come this thing is free? :)

Very good vst with sensations of real reverb & delay. But some presets are too messy (horrible long echoes), and not explicit names. BUT very good VST ! Like it.
(5 / 5)
If you're a beginner it can be tricky to get it to sound right, but it's very versatile and really works extremely well for any application.
(3 / 5)
Good. The names of presets could be more expressive.
(4 / 5)
I use this reverb regularly... It's brilliant!
(5 / 5)
One of the best and so realistic, and for free. Thank You.

I like using this one. Lost of nice presets to manipulate.

Close to ArtsAcousticReverb (v1.1.1.2) ! Must to have : - Complex & multi-reverbs section. Incredible free VST.
I had problems on a "weak PC" using many re-verb VST's. Ambience not only sounds good, it doesn't eat up all the CPU for itself. It's very easy to use and you can hear clearly what each function does even if you have no idea what it means. I am a major user of OHMSTUDIO and Ambience is my first choice for all my projects. Great work and thank you.

Well, ALMOST all adjustments I can make are exactly the ones I need to create the adequate natural ambience for a specific source.... But the knockout criterion is the RANDOM variation! Why did you do this, why can't I enter an number in there? Sorry, I can't rely on coincidence for the perfect room. Too bad, otherwise it would be fantastic!
Just a heads up for anyone facing this issue: if you browse the parameter settings for Ambience, there will be a "seed/variation" knob which you can manually edit. Problem solved!
This is my absolute favorite reverb vst, free or otherwise.

it gives massive reverb and pretty good stuff!!!

More you can't get for this price... take it and run;)

love it

For my poor CPU machine 6 m. ago it was... well you know. But now this is the top!!!Thanks to this developers!!!!

This is top-notch, better than a lot of paid ones and rivals Lexicon easily. I am shocked that such a quality reverb can be free, the guy who made this deserves an award in the arena of free vst plugs, golden award for best premium-quality free vst.
(5 / 5)
Get this and EpicVerb and you have every sort of reverb you would ever need. Absolutely lush.
Great sounding, versatile reverb with lots of features. Can be a bit complicated, but there are so many good presets, i haven't had to mess with the individual controls a whole lot. One glitch-- occasionally it forgets my settings when I reopen a saved project in my DAW.

A great plugin - so useful and versatile.
(4 / 5)
It's a VST Classic, one of the best works in Freeware.
Lol , it's the Ambience included in Garritan Personal Orchestra (first version). A nice reverb :-)

What an amazing plugin...!!! Not something that I would have bought, but since it advertises itself as "free to use", I downloaded it to try without much thought behind my actions. Now, after using it for a while, it has become VERY EASY for me to hand over my heard-earned money (via the nag screen) not ONLY to get rid to that nag screen, but to show some appreciation for real QUALITY programming. Thanks Magnus -- keep up the good work.

Just GREAT.... exept the donation remindings!
(5 / 5)
Lots of features and control and the reverbs sound great.

Great reverb, why spend thousands of $ for a 960L ? You can get a very good quality with this one... Plus the gating section is very interesting !
This vst is a totaly "playable" demo, but you can register it at the author for a small (or big !) donation.
