MiniMogueVA is based on the popular analog Minimoog monosynth.
This amazing softsynth sounds very close to the original Minimoog, yet has tons of additional features not present on the original Mini (as well as the Minimoog Voyager!).

Hi I'm trying to map my VST synths to sliders and rotaries on my Oxygen Pro controller and wondering whether there is a Midi CC map for this VST.

Thanks for making this! How do you get the keyboard to show at the bottom?
There is no keyboard function. The keyboard in the image is probably from SAVIHOST.

How can I load and save presets with the plugin when used in Reaper? The standalone has presets, but I don't see them when used in a DAW.

Great VST but I don't know how to set up with my MIDI keyboard, can someone help?
I believe you would need to put it in a DAW

one of the best moog simulators I've ever used, but a 64-bit version is urgently needed, even if possible, for use with Linux.

Great program, but I accidentally replaced one of the default sounds (super saw) I tried re downloading the program, but it still only plays the custom sound . Is there any way to fix this? Thanks

Very good sound.

Has anyone had issues with several of the modules not installing? There is a subfolder of MinimogueVA also named MinimogueVA that contains a bunch of SEP and SEM files. When I run Cakewalk, I get a series of error messages "Can't load module" followed by the names of the SEP and SEM files. I don't know where to move those files to to make Cakewalk find them.
Same problem here. Can't seem to solve it.
Solved the problem. Put MinimogueVA.dll straight into your 32bit vst folder (probably Programme Files (x86)CakewalkVstplugins), but not within a sub-folder. Then either make sure the Vstplugins folder has full control privileges for the level of user, or just run Cakewalk as administrator. I've just done this and it all opens and appears to run with no issues.

Great sound! The polyphony can be rather glitchy, and the parameters can be a bit of a pain to access from a DAW, but the sound is absolutely gorgeous and so worth the minor hassle.

Excelente "reproduction", aussi bonne sonorité qu'une guitare électrique!!!!!
That's what I needed to know, thanks.

Just getting into software synths/music making and am a huge prog rock fan. This VST is amazing in my opinion, almost every preset is a huge winner, great fat sound. Should be loads of fun to experiment with. Kudos to the author(s) for making such a great sounding synth and then giving it away for free!

Used to be my favorite synth back when 32 bit plugins were still a thing. Too bad no 64 bit update available.
If you gave this up because it's "only" 32 bit, you're a fool. If they had a 64 bit version, you'd be unlikely to hear a diff. This is a great plugin!
id think its mostly because many 64 bit daws wont accept 32 bit plugins
FL Studio is an example of a DAW that accepts both, actually.
Mixcraft 8 Pro Studio (64 bit) also handles 32 bit plugins out of the box

Really really cool. You can get very funky with this instrument. The only thing that keeps me from rating this 5 stars is that some of the GUI dials are not properly labelled on the Control VST-plugin interface, so you have to do a bit of trial and error to find out which dial matches what is on the GUI. BUT most of it is okay, but some not.

I also bought JBridge and have no trouble at all using MiniMogueVA (and many other 32-bit plugins) with Ableton Live (9.7.3) on Windows 10.

Pretty good sound. I compared this side by side to the once free giveaway Arturia Minimoog V Original and it is not bad at all. Too bad the MiniMogueVA is not 64-bit unlike Arturia's Minimoog V Original....
After quite some time comparing the sound quality of the MiniMogueVA to the Arturia Minimoog V Original side by side, I can happily report and tell that the MiniMogueVA sounds equally as good as the Arturia Minimoog V Original. The MiniMogueVA only needs a 64-bit version update. :)

Legendary freebie Minimoog emulation! Really good sound!
(5 / 5)
A Classic! I hope it will get updated to 64-bit.

Brilliant sounding synth!

Maravilloso :)

I have been using the MinimogueVA for years - but I'm wondering if there will ever be a 64bit VST version of it, as the current versions of the DAWs stop to support 32bit plugins.
Check out JBridge - it works with many DAWs and is not expensive. I use REAPER and JBridge every day and never had a problem. https://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/

Semplice, facile da usare, intuitivo, completamente programmabile. Per me il migliore.

I have MiniMogueVA 2.3 TD version. It's up to 32x overload and up to 128 polyphony. Powerful synth, wonderful sound.
Everytime i clone the track using this plugin it will crash the program.

A beautiful sounding emu. Especially good for smooth silky leads but an excellent all rounder.

One more instrument for my Bitwig Studio :)
When you compare it to the Arturia Mini V, there is no doubt, King Arturia (King of bugs) just have to take lessons (and turn my money back). Minimogue rules, and Minimogue Luxus rule more ! Thanks Milord !

Just fantastic! Just hearing the Emerson's Tarkus moog it was quite amazing! I'm not a keyboard, but a huge fan of prog rock music. Can't imagined that was possible with a free VST! Congratulations to the creators!

I trie to connect my E-Guitar on this Synthesizer. I'll play Tarcus again. Mike of wiesentrio.

Great VST! has very cool presets for lead sounds and has a nice interface

Ok, so I saw all the comments saying how great this was and I figured they were just people happy to get a free VST.. This thing is AMAZING.. like you will never get a better free anything in life amazing.. :-) Seriously.. I went thru the first 30-40 sounds and was impressed with the quality at the lower bass range. No distortion or muffled garbage ..then I realized I hadn't even got to the actual "Basses" yet. If you are looking for something to give your bass lines some polish.. you have arrived. Just download it now and enjoy.

I play the guitar and piano but never saw one like this before, it's amazing.
This is a KILLER VST! I'm wondering if anyone knows how to set it up to make that Emerson Brass Synth sound. Let me know!
Do you mean the brass sounds he used on the Works album songs, like on "Fanfare For The Common Man"? If so, try flicking the switch that lets this beauty be polyphonic and you may find the sound you are looking for. Not sure which preset would be the most suitable. Love the Keith Emerson presets on this VST. Love everything about this VST.
I'd like to know how to get the settings for the brass sound of 'Touch and Go' as well as Pink Floyds soft brass on Shine On You Crazy Diamond

Very good emulation... fat sound.

Fantastic VST but i'm unable to load it into Bitwig Studio :(
What software are you using ? There is usually a switch to change the octave settings for the qwerty keyboard
I love this, but I can't seem to configure my qwerty keyboard to play anything but the middle scale. Where do I change this? I changed the base note, and now the lowest note on the synth board is lower, but the computer keyboard starts an octave higher, so that had no effect. Is this just not an option? I love the sound, and I thought it would be an easy way of getting some simple keyboard bass on some songs, but if I can't configure the qwerty to work with it, it's not worth my trouble.

Just found this today, and after reading all the comments I had to download it. Absolutely amazing sound, great filter, FX, LFO, MIDI Learn, Arpeggiator and Sine waves for Subs and deep basses......... love it ! Thank you very much for sharing this excellent VST.

Nice plugin. I was having problems using it as a VST in Ableton. I would get a number of errors loading modules. Turns out I just had to run Ableton as an administrator to get the modules loaded into my plugins folder. Works perfectly now and is super juicy.

Greatness in terms of free moogs. This and prodigious are the 2 best moogs that are free.

Very good to get Keith Emerson's sounds.

Very gooood, my friend! Thankz!! Era o que eu estava procurando! Valeu!!!!
I am having trouble getting the vsti to arpeggiate in record mode - I use Reaper. I can hear the actual notes I played, on playback, but not the arpeggiation I hear when the vsti is operating.
Hi, I've had the same problem, and although I haven't tried this yet, I'm going to set Audacity to record the audio coming through my laptop's speakers in an attempt to get a recording of the arppegiated sounds. Might work, just a thought. Hope this helps.
Hey guys, try using both 32/64 bit version, if that fails , record arp to wav using another DAW then bring it back into Reaper, Works great in Fl Studio check out the bass line I used from this synth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJYEeRnxavM

I have used this for years now, I love it, a staple bread and butter vsti, I have the official moog vsti(created by a synth pluggie developer) I think this freebie is better than the official moog plugin. I use this minimogue as a source of base song composition all the way to live performances on stage - needs to have five stars and win at the NAMM. It's old but yet perfect for a new paradigm of electronic music.

This plugin save me some money ($200+ bucks to be exact). There's a royksopp patch also. Thanks Glen!
Comes frightningly close to the real thing. AND it's got a poly button. pretty amazing achievement, thanks a lot.

This thing really rocks!

Excelentes sons. Recomendo pra quem tem gosto!

This is really the best Minimoog emulation I've ever tried, beats many commercial products 100-0. Some of the presets are really amazing and with some external effects you are in synthesizer heaven. Really recommended for everyone looking for a vintage Moog sound!
thnx!!! I want to make some remixes to pink floyd with this bomb!!

Fantástico. Impressionante como um VST to pequeno e grátis pode ser to poderoso.

I've been using this one for years!!!! I LOVE IT! The best!!!
Wow. I was expecting something really lousy but I must admit, this is a really great sounding emu synth.

Close to the arturia wich comes for 200 bucks, great sound, love it.
(5 / 5)
Absolutely stunning. Words can't really do it justice.
(5 / 5)
This was my first VST. I had a REAL minimoog for my first analogue. I LOVE this thing and it REALLY sounds close to the way my real one did(the exception is the sub). The arpeggiator is a treat and it stays in tune without warming up for 10 minutes.
(4 / 5)
Really captures the sound of classic 70s synth!

THE MOST PERFECT MOOG free vst I ever found. Congrats!
Straight Funky!!! A must have, can't believe it's free!!!!
Class synth man! Easy to control and has some proper quality sounds. :Well done)

Love love love... I use this one a lot for leads... Highly worth the download!!!

I love this thing. Comes closer to a real mini than ANY other VST.

I had the original D model. This one along with Freemoog are the best of them all !!!

This is by far the best free VST there is. Use it with a good controller with aftertouch and you can do realy amazing things. Ode to the creator of this plugin, a great piece of work.

This is by far the BEST free synth that you will find. I also use this bad boy alot and it rocks!!!!

Some really great fat sounds on this! Easy to use and a lot of useful presets too.

This synth is very good, warm / fat leads and basses, really easy to use, I like (and use) it a lot!

Fantastic VST. Best of the bunch - and it's free !There's also a smaller version, for bass sounds. Download both !

What a nice moogie!!! It has sounds like some used by Rush, Emmerson Lake & Palmer...!
Don't forget Rick Wakeman! His sounds are in there too! If you are a fan of the minimoog, download this badboy you won't be dissapointed !
