epicPLATE delivers an authentic recreation of classic plate reverberation.
It covers the fast and consistent reverb build up as well as that distinct tonality the plate reverb is known for and still so much beloved today. Its unique reverb diffusion makes it a perfect companion for all kinds of delay effects and a perfect fit not only for vocals and drums.

Just like other VOS plugins, I like this one too. With some tweaking I get satisfying results.

Thanks to all those genius who give away diamond rings because they don't care that much for money :)) You truly make my musical world a cosy place ;)
I got some weird resonances with this reverb. Depending on the source of course, but it really sounded quite unpleasant - so bad, that it might be a bug? Or is this just how plates actually sound? (Other plate reverb plugins didn't have this issue though with the same source)

Fantastic, instantly useable and inspiring
Hmm, I tried this reverb with different sources and a decent monitoring system. If you use sonic material with very sharp attack (e.g. bright percussions / short cymbal beats) sometimes there can be produced some strong resonances. I don't really think that's a bad thing and it's probably based on the original idea of creating reverberation with a large metal plate...

Maybe the last bit of authenticity is missing, but I don't know anyone who has a 170 kg reverb plate in their studio or bedroom ;) The plugin has got a very convincing "in-the-style-of-plate-reverb"-sound. It works great with drums and on vocals it does the great CLA-trick with more than 150 ms predelay very well. And it comes with plenty of tasty presets. In my opinion this reverb is the perfect addition to Voxengo´s "OldschoolVerb" and for all, who can´t afford the "U*D - Cl*ss*c Pl*t* R*v*rb*r*t*r". Thanks to VOS!

Quickly becoming one of my go-to reverbs. It's fantastic, and ridiculously easy to dial in a great sound.

Очень понравился ревербер! Всё понятно и звучит для меня отлично! Спасибо
I will soon write something about the sound. But first: It's so great that VOS is back with new stuff!

This truly is an epic plate. Once in a blue moon something fabulous comes out and this is it. If I could have only one reverb, commercial or not, this would be it. Thank you!

A real epic plugin! Sounds somewhat similar to it's predecessor epicverb plugin which is now discontinued (from what I have read), though it would had been a little bit much better if the speed of the gate is adjustable (slow/mid/fast perhaps?) but otherwise it's a unique plate verb plugin

Special thanks for making 32 bit version as well. Not all of us need 64bit machines

Love the sounds of this reverb, I can see this quickly becoming my goto reverb. Very simple easy to understand layout so it's easy to find a sound that fits into your mix, and the GATE option adds a nice touch.

Synthetic, metallic, inorganic sounding tones, I do not hear much of a typical plate reverb character. Much less anything "epic".
Maybe an ear infection?
It really does make me wonder why or if you even try plugins... synthetic inorganic? It's a plugin man... it isn't made of nature dude.
Since you seem to know what you're talking about, I'd like to know what free verb, plate or not, you consider being any good.. (organic, and all..)
Ok what's a good reverb then my broski
