I compared this version with 1.0 and the older one sounds warmer. Same with Jamp. However needless to say, they're all useful in terms of saturating your sound. What's next? Maybe a plugin like pedalz 5 in 1 with Amper,, Blackshow, Jamp, Distox, and Rollamp inside? :) Either way, great work by Analog Obsession.

In general a good Blackface tone, sounds good, naturally. What I already did not like in version 1 was and is the - in my opinion - much too low signal output level. I also don't hear much sonic difference between a low and high volume setting. In reality even a very clean amp like a Blackface should give you a more intense power amp saturation, if it's fully cranked up.
