Ok, this is fast becoming my 2nd favorite VST synth, up there with PG-8X.At first i was rather underwhelmed with the sound, but go into menu and "show all parameters" so you can get a better look at what is going on and then start playing with VCF and then DCO's to get something nice happening, then adjust the DCO mode and you get like a Unison, and holy crap this thing goes from thin and somewhat lifeless to fat and warm.Top it all of with some DEG adjustments and then play around with the MG section to add some modulation and character...and this goes from 5 out of 10 to 10/10, once you get the flow happening you will start to create your own patches in no time, and trust me you can make much better sounding patches then the presets...use them as a guide and tweak them and i'm off to donate to these guys if i can!! Feel free to contact me at ACL Stands on Facebook or check out https://memory-flash.tumblr.com/ i will be putting up a patch bank for this great VST on there as well as other Korg resources.

I'm trying to find someone familiar with the factory sounds on a 1986 Korg Poly 800. The one I bought supposedly has the factory sounds loaded into it. I need to replicate the sound on this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPwDioXkcOM it is sort of a voice. Very sad and eeerry . My band recorded our songs at practice 30 years ago and we want to make a nice recording of them now minus the original vocalist. She played keys and has long forgotten which setting she used. Is there anyone here who can help me?
You ever figure this out? lol

My dad gave me his old poly-800 that has been sitting in a storage shed for 30 something years. I'm in the process of completely restoring it and I needed something to hold me over until I get it working fully again. Thanks!

I still own the Poly 800 I bought new in 1983 when I was just 18. It cost me over $1000 Canadian back then and was the first thing I ever financed! I've been waiting for someone to come out with a VST so THANKS! I love the addition of the GOD mode and the chorus making this classic synth even better! THANKS!

I actually own the Poly-800 myself, and I will say that this plugin sounds as good if not better than the physical synth. Job well done.

Perfect virtual copy of an ok synth. The original has great sound but is pretty limited and has a very bad user interface in my opinion. This VST has the exact same great sound, and is far better : there is more user presets, and one can choose some upgrades that where'nt on the original (god mod, stero chorus...) and it has a by far more user friendly UI because every parameter can be moved with the mouse and don't need to be entered with the synth's num pad.

This is 100% emulation of the poly800. Full bucket once again delivers the goods. Download and enjoy the nostalgia folks.

Another brilliant synth from FBM. Great sounding, easy on the CPU and brilliant interface. FBM gear is much better than most commercial releases by much bigger companies.
So nice, asome.

Fantastic Synth. It is about 25 years ago as I heard to the original Sounds the last time but the Interface and the Sounds are close to the original as far as I remember. In my opinion the Poly 800 sounds a bit warmer and smoother. But this VST is fantastic an exactly what I was looking for. THX.
More an analog fan here. Waiting for a MS-20 from him :D
Already got the Korg legacy collection. ;) But Korg isn't seemingly willing to build a Poly 800-VST, I guess :D
So you can compare both Mono/poly... what do you think..which one sound better ?
Great! ! Is it quite close to the actual machine? I think that the atmosphere of the 80's is well expressed. It has the same taste as the actual JUNO 106.
