Amper is a mid/high gain guitar amp for metal.

But, Amper is little different than other metal amps. There are 2 different drive section. Sections are not parallel. Connected series. Volume 1 controlling pre-gain tube distortion before main pre-amp which is controlling by Volume 2.

Think like you have distortion pedal before your amp. But this drive modeled from tube amp distortion. Mid gain range to boost main pre-amp. Tone control section based Sol**** amps.

Also, there is pre-tone shaper before preamp. Carefully designed for metal guitar to keep amp from annoying frequencies.

Great straightforward high gain amp, if you like the Soldano or Bogner kind of tone... just meddle a little with the 2 stages for different flavours. Simple and effective!

For some weird-ass reason, the audio unit is recognized TWICE. As in, there are two functional AMPERs even though I only put in ONE amper.component file. What’s up with that?

Esse é de longe um dos melhores modeladores de amplificadores de guitarra que eu já utilizei, e olha que eu já utilizei muitos kk... Super recomendo!!

For me one of the better free high-gain amp sims here. Sounds good, gain and tone controls work fine and in the right frequency range, which not always seems to be the case with amp sims, especially higher frequencies often sound too sharp, shrill or too synthetically. Not here. In combination with some good IR's you get really convincing overdrive/distortion tube amp tones. I personally would have preferred some better dynamic reaction and in combination with it a more intense, more attack-dependent overtone reproduction, but this can be seen as high-level-moaning. Generally I think, this is a nice, very good sounding amp sim.
