Anadyomene is a FM synthesizer designed to be as easy to use as any Subtractive synth but with the ability to operate as a pretty functional FM (DX-7) synth for that wonderful character.

It appears as an educational VSTi and in this respect it might have helped if explanatory text boxes appeared near knobs rather than these enormous labels. Other than that no FM-synth programmer will spend a minute to an 2OP synth, and no analog synths programmer will dig into a synthesis that already appears exotic - no matter the minimal OPs.

2OP has its place if done right. Of course certain sounds become impossible since you can't do certain algorithms anymore. But theoretically, if you can alter the partials of the sine wave with simple additive synthesis prior to the FM, you can see just how far 2OP can get you. In fact if the implementation is good, 2OP can sound better than a crappy 3/4OP synth.

Vsthost doesn't support 64 bits vsts. You should use a program supporting them native or using Jbridge tool.

Pretty much been there done that...free and Win 64 is in it's favor, but I've got enough FM arrows in my quiver.

Stupid name for a synth. Lot of wasted GUI space...synth and dev's names need not be so huge! Font used for controls eats up more real estate. Ugly knobs.

Dear Mitch, I'm sorry that you have so much free time that you use it to criticize a gift. Google this plugins name, its wonderful. The GUI is fine. I'm certain that Benedict doesn't have a degree in desktop publishing. If you don't like it, don't use it. Volunteer for a worthy organization instead.

BTW, it sounds pretty nice, and the developer seems like a decent fella in the attached video.
