This is great, that's the right one!

Don't listen to the nay-sayers. This is one of the best softsynths out there, free or otherwise. As a tribute to the CS-80, its presets beat the ones in ME-80 and Arturia, especially for that "Vangelis Blade-Runner" sound. My laptop and DAW are still 32-bit, so this is perfect. Absolute kudos to the makers of Arminator!

HOW IS THIS FREE? Really just an INCREDIBLE emulation here. They nailed it. I highly recommend adding this to your collection no matter what you do.

Am looking for this plugin a long time, nice sound.
I have been looking for something like this forever. I can't believe it is free!

Good "replica" !!!! Ottimo lavoro ;)

BLADERUNNER`s. Amazing lush-lead and bell sounds. I used em a lot for tv and film and for Bladerunner-remakes. So far the best emulation of the VANGELIS sound I´ve ever heard (beside the real one). I also use Arturia`s CS-80, but he can`t beat the depth, dynamic and pearly silverish oscillation of this free synth.

OMG...! Yes... Got it to load up on my Ableton lite live 9 32 bit after trying till 9pm last night then had to go to bed then got home from work tried installing in its own folder minus the manual and it worked... This thing is sweet... Christmas is now complete...
Absolutely cannot get it to run in Ableton... tried everything. I have the .dll in my vst folder with all my other synths and FX... but it won’t show in the daw... Any thoughts??!
Maybe because it is 32 bit plugin? I also use ableton 10, and i had to use "jBridger" for 32 plugins

Can't believe this is a freebie! Superb plugin that knocks the spots off the contenders.

This is truly one of the best sounding VST instruments I've ever heard... free or commercial!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!!!!

Fantastico-muchas gracias!
Maravilha!
This synthesizer was played not only by Vangelis, but also by Electric Light Orchestra in 1978-1983

WOW! im getting back into music after 25 years. And this was the first VST I tried out, for that DEEP heavy classic synth sound, you can't go wrong and with a great arpeggiator.... I spend hours fiddling, you NEED this in your collection!!!!
Hermoso instrumento, bellos sonidos. Gracias!!!

Is there a bank (from developer or 3rd part) with che iconic Vangelis sounds?
(5 / 5)
Ok so I stumbled across this while researching 70s and 80's gear. I have to say this is a fantastic representation of an often forgotten landmark synth. What is really great is this stuff is becoming very popular again. There are SO many synths out there in VST form that do so much but this is special. It is special to me because it brings back the sounds of my childhood. I started playing with it at 1am and its been basically all night. This is just fantastic! You will be getting a donation from me!

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE OFFWORLD TECH !! OMAR

This synth sounds good until you try Arturia's CS-80. Yes, Arturia is not free but it sounds one thousand times better than Arminator. Actually Arminator's sound is a bit cheap and weak. Still it can be used here and there but not as a lead instrument in your track.
I’ve tried both. Arturia’s CS-80 doesn’t even come close. Arminator 2 has a couple of quirks, but it sounds a lot closer to the real thing.
I agree with paulB. Arturia's cs80v maybe looks better but Arminator has better sound and much better patches.

Great Job, Thanks.

This thing is amazing, sounds better IMHO than any other CS80 clone, and it sounds HUGE, cuts through a mix no problem........ and lots of great presets to use while getting to know it........ Thank you very much, I love it ! :)

Amazing, thank you so much! :)

Unique sounds, great job, under Vangelis inspiration!
I love it, thank u.

Sounds terrific! will it work on a mac?
(4 / 5)
This is just fantastic! I'm just having a really frustrating issue. When i pause and press play again it's all gone back to preset #1. You guys have done an amazing job crafting something so insanely versatile not to mention all the presets. Just wondering if you have a clue what that might be about. I'm running it in Ableton Live 9 Suite on Windows 10 (64bit) so i jbridged it which worked perfectly fine until this started happening.
I really love the synth sounds! Will use these for ambient trance projects!

Sound awesome and low cpu, Thanx :-)

Super!
Sounds great, thanks for all the patches too!

Awesome old school sound. Thanx.

This free plugin is awesome. It's got a ton of presets, sounds/looks great, and is easy to use. Whoever gave it one star needs more fiber in their diet.
Agreed. And I have not even installed it yet. Just listened to the video samples enough to say it all.

Buen plugin, buen sonido estereo o monofonico, analogico, y tambien se logra un sonido synthetico, tiene efecos de reverb y otros. Recomendado

Good emulator, thanks
Perfect.
Possibly the best CS80 of all time when you factor perfect tune, no back problems moving it or storing more than two patches. Oh and it's nice not to have to replace all the original paper capacitors as well. Seriously, This VST sounds as good as it needs to for that classic vintage CS80 sound. Thank you for your largess. It's a pity it's not native 64 bit but I can live with it in a wrapper. Once again, me and my back thank you.

Very Nice!!!

Awesome Sound and Low CPU, WOW... Gracias
10/10 to Ian(programmer) and Armin(sound designer) for their brilliant creation. Epic presets make all the difference to the desire for this vsti. Many other good products at the Krakli Facebook page as well. NICE ONE GUYS !

This is a lovely thing. Very Vangelis. Thank you.

The plugin is nice, I guess, but I can't give it a passing score when it claims to be something it's not. This is about as far from a Yamaha CS-80 as you can get while still being a synthesizer. Very disappointing.
In fact this is probably the best CS80 that ever was. No two CS80 ever sounded the same. In fact no CS80 ever sounded the same day to day. I've owned three (yes, I hated myself that much) and I taught myself how to tune the fuckers because I nearly went bankrupt getting techs to tune them. They weighed a ton and you only had to look at them a bit funny or it be a bit damp and they would drop out of tune. Oh, and they could store how many patches? Two! This CS80 is virtual and the designers have deigned to give it to you for free and you call it disappointing!
Actually We have never claimed that this is a CS80 clone, although it is constantly reported as such, obviously due to its layout. This was created as a instrument to be enjoyed by the patch writer who is a mega-Vangelis fan so it made sense to borrow some elements and concepts from the original. The VST world is full of look-alikes that only approximate the sounds of the instruments that they are based upon. I know my limitations in this area, and the limitations of the Dev environment that I use.

Fabulous plugin, love all these Vangelis patches
