Bassprofessor Mark II is a bass guitar enhancer.

This thing does such a great job of shaping tone and adding detail with ease, it's got very low CPU usage, and it sounds even better than the last version! Thank you so much!

Fantastic effect. I've never had such a marvellous bass sound. I use it on every single bass track. Every single one. I wouldn't do without it.

Hey, I've heard a lot of good things about this, but when I downloaded it, and extract the files, all I get is a PDF and a weird .dll file. Is the download still functional?

You must setup your file explorer to see all files. The dll file of the plugin itself is in the zip along the pdf but seems to be hidden on your computer

I use it on my drum machines and ableton drum real drum samples. It just adds so much great low end presence. Really fills in the sound. Amazing how much you can add and not overload the in put of ableton. For my bass and drum machines I use this then the klanghelm mjucJR and it is awesome. That pumps up the input also. That one I put after all my channels. especially both of those on my dexed and synth sounds. just adds a lot of boom. more than you need so you have to adjust. Amazing combo

Perfect! Not just on bad guitar but low instruments in general. Adding "dirt" to the signal gives true "amped" feeling.

I can't recommend this bass amp sim enough. It's good on it's own but it's fantastic with a fuzz/distortion plugin.

Wow! Superb free effect plugin! Works great on almost anything. Tested with many instruments, Bass, Guitar, Organ, Strings, even a Concert Piano and Man! Really enhances the harmonics. Thanks a lot!

Please.... can someone tell me how to hook up this amp sim to my daw?.....I am currently using the adobe audition trial version...... is it even possible to do so in my daw?

Download and unzip in your vst folder, if you don't have one you can create one, then on your daw in bottom of the effects menu there's an option called something like "Audio Plugins Admin" (don't know the exact name in english) where you have to find the folder in the VST plugin section (top of the window according to a video) when you add it it should be appearing in the Available Plugins section. If everything cheks then just create a track that feeds from your interface and there should be an FX part where you add it as an effect. Thisngs might be different, I don't use that DAW so I'm not very familiar, but overall you should be able to do if following these steps

@TheAnon i downloaded and unzipped it, I am using fl studio, should I make a Vst folder in image line folder. Thanks.

@Nishant Sodhi No, you should already have a VST folder in either C:ProgramVSTPlugins or C:ProgramCommon FilesVST2. Copy the Bass Professor MK2.x64.dll file into one of those (probably the first alternative) but if you have VST folders in both places just copy it into both to be sure. Next time you start FL Studio it should scan for new plug-ins and it will appear in the plug-in list.

What is your recording software !? In my case, I am using Reaper. If it's the same for you then, open the Windows file to find your programs. Find Reaper (x64) and open it. Then, click in plug-ins then drop the dll file. (which you downloaded here) in FX. Start Reaper and look through your new plugins.

I use it with Acoustica Mixcraft 9 Pro Studio. When the dll file is added to a VST folder you created, have it detected with Preferences/Plugins then Scan for VST folders, it is used as an effect in a track, like Reverb or Delay.

Well Hugo BD, I did as you said, but I still can't find it in my plug ins in Reaper. Sigh...

Used this on my bass track yesterday - it was like the sun coming. Great control, and as advertised, takes the DI bass and gives it amp like quality. Love the lower mid control. Excellent work. Beautiful interface too.
